I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, moved to Norway when I was 15, bounced around Europe during my university years and ended up in Africa doing humanitarian work. During my second pregnancy and procrastinating on a sofa in our apartment in Bogota, Colombia, I was an avid internet surfer and kept finding such lovely quilting sites. Once my baby was born, I could not help myself any longer and I borrowed a sewing machine and started patch-working. My husband says I'm addicted, perhaps I am...
During 2012, I blogged about my new sewing projects. Throughout, I mention sites of inspiration and great tutorials used for my projects. Also included are some tidbits from our discovery outings in and around Jerusalem.
During 2013, I will continue to blog about sewing projects, perhaps mostly projects for our new home in Victoria, BC. Some vignettes from our (re-)discovery of Canada will slip in now and then.
Items that are not given to even more relatives (!?!), will be put up for sale. Naturally I will consider exceptional orders or personalized touches to add to the uniqueness of the product, if so requested.
I hope you enjoy my site. I absolutely adore receiving feed-back, so don't be shy and tell me what you think.
Enjoy!
Christine
